Homage to Ancestors (Day of the Dead, Mexico)

Sugared skull treats, mounds of fruit, candlelight vigils, the odd tequila bottle, skeleton dolls and cemeteries like no one has seen them before.       

This is the Day of Dead (Dia de los Muertos) Festival in Mexico celebrated across Mexican cemeteries and streets on the evening of November 1st. Now that’s a different way to spend Halloween!
